Çocukluk hayalleri, hıza duyduğu tutkudan dolayı F1 pilotu olmak ve hayvanlara, doğaya olan sevgisinden bir hayvan çiftliğinde yaşamaktı.
Ortaokul ve lise döneminde Türkiye satranç şampiyonluğu ve birçok bölgesel satranç şampiyonlukları kazandı. Lisede iken lisanlı yüzücü oldu ve Türkiye Su Altı Sporları federasyonundan ödüller kazandı.
13 yaşında babasını kaybettikten sonra, lise öğreniminin son dönemlerinde ailesiyle beraber İzmir’e taşındı.
Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Zootekni Bölümünde okudu. Üniversite 2. Sınıfta okurken kendi e-ticaret sitesi olan ‘petbutik35.com ‘u kurdu. Kendi tasarımları ve markasıyla kedi ve köpek kıyafetleri ürettirip b2b ve b2c olarak satışlar yapmaya başladı. İlk ihracatını da henüz öğrenci iken kedi papyonlarını satarak gerçekleştirdi.
Üniversite bitmeden kendi mesleği olan hayvan besleme ile ilgili Amerikan ortaklı ‘Bentley Farm’ firmasında çalışmaya başladı. Okuldan mezun olur olmaz bir Fransız firması ‘Timac Agro’ya transfer oldu. 1. Yılın sonunda bir Alman firması olan GEA’nın Türkiye kanalında teknik müdür olarak işe girdi. Sonrasında ‘Pak Maya’nın hayvancılık sektöründeki şirketi olan ‘İntegro Gıda’da özel müşteriler müdürü olarak tüm Türkiye’deki büyük hayvan çiftliklerini portföyüne ekleyerek iki sene boyunca hayalindeki işi yaptı.
Tüm bu süreçlerde kendi markası ‘Petbutik35’ arka planda çalışmaya devam etti, ‘ÇiftçiExpress’ girişimini de ‘Pak Maya’ da çalışırken gerçekleştirdi.
Bu süreçlerde Türkiye’de tanınmış birçok kedi ve köpek maması markasının isimlerini bularak pet sektöründeki en büyüklerin içinde yer almayı başardı. Kendine ait pet food markalarını oluşturmak ve bunları dünyaya duyurmak hayaliyle iş dünyasında keskin bir kararla kendi şirketini kurdu.
Şu anda Mr. Balky, Mastercat, PetButik35 ve Çiftçiexpress başta olmak üzere dünyanın birçok yerinde de ismini duyuran markaların ve ürünlerin sahibi oldu.
2022 yılında ise ‘İhracatın Güçlü Kadınları Ödülü’ne layık görülen en genç iş insanı oldu. Çiftçiexpress projesi ile Arlem ödüllerini kazandı.
100’ün üzerinde üniversite ve seminer konuşması yaptı. Tüm zaman sıkışıklığına rağmen öğrencilerden gelen talepleri, onların geleceğine dokunabilme ihtimali için geri çevirmemeye çalışmaktadır.
2022 yılının Aralık ayında İzmir, Sahilevleri’nde 200mkarelik konsept bir petshop mağazası girişimiyle e-ticaret ve bayilikler sonrası, ilk sıcak satış noktasını açtı. İçeride kendi ürünlerini de dâhil olmak üzere 17.000’in üzerinde çeşit ürün bulunmaktadır.
Hedefi 35 yaşına geldiğinde işle alakalı tüm sistemi kurup, sistemin içerinden kendisini çıkarmak ve tamamen uzaktan kontrol edilebilir bir iş hayatı yaşamak.
Seçil Yurtseven; hayvanlar ve insanlar için daha yaşanır ve doğaya daha yakın bir hayatın mümkün olabileceğinin öncü savunucusudur.
She was born on January, 11th in 1993 in Gaziantep.
Her childhood dreams were to become an F1 driver because of her passion for speed and to live on an animal farm out of her love for animals and nature.
During secondary school and high school, she won the Turkish chess championship and many regional chess championships. While in high school, she became a licensed swimmer and won awards from the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation.
After losing her father at the age of 13, she moved to Izmir with her family at the end of her high school education.
She studied at the Department of Zootechnics of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ege University. While studying at the 2nd year of university, she founded her own e-commerce site which is “petbutik35.com’’. She started to produce cat and dog clothes with her own designs and brand and to make sales as b2b and b2c. She also made her first export by selling cat bow ties while she was still a student.
Before finishing university, she started working at “Bentley Farm’’, an American partner company related to animal nutrition, which is her own profession. As soon as she graduated from university, she transferred to a French company ‘TimacAgro’. At the end of the 1st year, she got a job as a technical manager at the Turkish channel of GEA, a German company. After that, she did her dream job for two years by adding large animal farms all over Turkey to her portfolio as a private customer manager at ‘Integro Gıda’, which is Pak Maya’s company in the livestock sector.
During all these processes, she continued to work with her own brand ‘Petbutik35’, and she realized the ‘ÇiftçiExpress’ initiative while working at ‘Pak Maya’.
In these processes, she managed to take a place among the biggest ones in the pet sector by finding the names of many well-known cat and dog food brands in Turkey. She founded her own company with a sharp decision in the business world with the dream of creating her own pet food brands and announcing them to the world.
Currently, she has owned the Mr. Balky, Mastercat, PetButik35 and Çiftçiexpress which are the brands and products that have made their name in many parts of the world.
In 2022, she became the youngest business person to be awarded the ‘Strong Women of Export Award’. She won the Arlem awards with the Çiftçiexpress project.
She has given over 100 university and seminar speeches. Despite all the time constraints, she tries not to refuse requests from students in order to be able to touch their future.
In December 2022, she opened her first hot sales point after e-commerce and dealerships with the initiative of a concept petshop store of 200 square meters in Sahilevleri in Izmir. There are more than 17,000 kinds of products inside, including their own products.
Her goal is to found the entire work-related system, remove herself from the system and live a completely remotely controllable business life when she reaches the age of 35.
